Aquaman

The character of Aquaman, also known as Arthur Curry, made his debut in DC Comics in 1941. As the half-human, half-Atlantean king of the underwater city of Atlantis, he possesses incredible strength, the ability to communicate with sea creatures, and various other aquatic powers. Over the years, Aquaman has evolved from being a lesser-known hero to becoming a pivotal figure in the DC Universe.

The character’s first solo live-action film, Aquaman, released in 2018, proved to be a box office success. Starring Jason Momoa in the titular role, the film offered a fresh and visually stunning take on the underwater world of Atlantis. It not only earned critical acclaim but also resonated with audiences worldwide, becoming one of the highest-grossing DC films of all time.
